DC Dance Club Inc. Policy 

Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy & Missed Classes

There are NO REFUNDS on our courses, workshops, private lessons, memberships, functions, or other pre-registered/registered classes.
Your registration and payment guarantees your space in class/private lesson and also controls the class size.
Classes are subject to limited number and maxium number of students.
Any missed classes CANNOT be made up in another time slot, all of our classes are different and start at many different times.
Classes are also non-transferable.
Private Lessons require 24 HOURS NOTICE to avoid being charged for lesson.  Booking a private lesson does not mean you are booking the entire room or a Specific Instructor DC will do their best to provide you with the instructor of choice, but may assign another instructor to you if circumstances do not allow for your specific choice of instructor.
Exception

If an injury or medical condition prevents you from participation or completing your course, we will offer credit (in form of classes) based on a doctor’s note and the number of classes left in the set. Please notify DC Dance Club Inc. immediately via email (dance@dcdanceclub.comdance@dcdanceclub.com) of the situation so another registrant may participate.

 

Proper indoor footwear must be worn at all times. No wet footwear into the ballroom at any time.

Please check your shoes if they are making marks on the floor, or nails are sticking out, and immediately change shoes.

Students are welcome to stay and practice, provided they pay a practice fee,  there is space on the floor and DC Dance Club staff is on site.

 

Lounge Area/Reception Area

If you are using DC’s Lounge/Reception area, please be respectful at all times, no feet on tables or couches, pick up all your trash prior to leaving, Absolutely No Running at any time.  DC reserves the right to ask anyone not abiding by polices to please leave.

 

Photographs and Media

From time to time press and media, staff, and parents, show up to either photograph, film, or interview participants in various courses or events. Pictures are taken and are on various media outlets,  DC Dance Club Inc. cannot always control what the media will release to the public. Be aware these photographs, videos etc. may be used for advertising purposes. It is your choice not to participate if these situation does arise.

In addition, DC Dance Club Inc. is not liable or responsible for any photographs, video etc taken by individuals, companies, or organizations and posted on Twitter, Facebook or other media sites or social sites.

Privacy Policy – When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, register at DC Dance Club, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, email, respond to a survey or fill out a form.  When ordering or registering on our site, or place of business, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information.  We will not share your information with anyone, or company.

 

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

To process transactions. For the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested. To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature. To send periodic emails. The email address you provide for order processing, will be added to our email list.  If you decide to continue in our mailing list, you will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.  Note:  If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

 

Do we use cookies?

Yes, we do use cookies.  We compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction.  In order to offer better site experiences and tools in the future.  We may also use third party provider.  They are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us to conduct and improve our business.

 

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.  This does not include our web hosting partners and other third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, for servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.  We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or other’s rights, property, or safety.  However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website.  These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies.  We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.  Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Online Merchandise Purchases

All merchandise purchases fall under Canadian Law.  Any merchandise purchases made outside of Canada are still protected under Canada’s jurisdiction.
