DC Dance Club was founded in 1986 by Miro Bartosz and is celebrating their 30 year anniversary in 2016.
Yes we have air-conditioning and we love it!
We offer some great wedding specials and choreography for your first wedding dance along with the bride and groom, they often do wedding parties, father and bride, mother and groom as well as stagettes and wedding showers. We also offer Wedding boot camps in groups.
Yes DC Dance Club is the only dance studio licensed in Calgary.
No, most students do not bring a partner to our group lessons or practice parties, of course you are welcome to. We encourage both men and ladies to dance with different partners throughout the parties, we cannot guarantee partners, but will do our best to match you up with someone for group lessons, and encourge singles to change partners.
No, we do not generally switch partners unless posted as a single only class. At times we have classes that have several singles partcipating and we encourage change of partners for those singles.
Yes DC Dance Club has lots of FREE parking availble.
Wear something comfortable, carry in indoor shoes, dress shoes are the best, (no wedges), runners are tough to dance in, and if this is something you plan on doing for a long time, you can invest in proper dance shoes that are available for purchase.
We sell dance shoes in a variety of sizes and styles.
We work 7 days a week with group classes and private lessons, usually starting at 10:00am – 10:00pm, We also book schools and private lessons earlier in the mornings.
We have a beautiful ballroom with chandeliers for weddings, as well as a lounge area.
No you do not, we have several packages that you can purchase from as little as our introduction package for $130.80 per couple, to our 4 week group classes, to our drop in classes and socials.
